The Brief

The Women’s Prize for Fiction is the UK’s most prestigious annualbook award celebrating & honouring fiction written by women. The event involved requirement was to capture the content live, with a number of elements including a step-and-repeat arrivalsmoment, multiple speeches and awards given on a stagethroughout the 4 hour event. It was critical for the client that allcontent went out to global media on that night.

The Solution

We captured a variety of activities, including schoolchildren performing dance routines, a performance by local spoken-word poet, Inua Ellams and of course, the Mayor enjoying his visit. They wanted to ensure the diversity of the borough was conveyed in the pictures and we achieved this with a variety of different angles, POV's and shots, which we then distributed far and wide to UK media
