The Brief
PA Media Assignments are commissioned, by the Goodwood Estate, to capture compelling and engaging editorial photography to effectively document and showcase the essence of their unique events; Goodwoof, Goodwood Revival, The Members Meetings, The Festival of Speed and The Qatar Festival of Horseracing. Our expertise in editorial event photography and ability to work quickly to a brief and distribute to the media via the PA WIRE made us the perfect partner for these jobs

The Solution
We work attentively and closely with the Goodwood communications team prior to each event to understand their needs and the different purpose, theme, schedule, key moments and participants at each festival. Planning and preparation is key so we can create a detailed shot list to ensure we successfully capture all the key individuals, and activaty highlights. Identifying the right photographer for these events is important. We work with numerous trusted, and highly skilled operators, who are able to quickly embed and familiarise themselves in the Goodwood style. Often working with two photographers on any one day and an on-site photography manager/editor to ensure smooth delivery to client and the PA WIRE.

The Results
Each event has been successfully captured and fulfilled by PA Media’s teams with images successfully distributed to the PA WIRE, gaining pick up in print, and online in numerous national and regional news outlets such as the The Mail Online, The Metro, The Mirror, The Telegraph and Yahoo to name a few. Raising the profile of each individual event a is key aim and success for Goodwood. PA’s ability to turn high quality content around quickly whilst capturing the spirit and essence of each event with a compelling visual representation of the festival days is why we are trusted to work with the Goodwood Estate to successfully deliver at their showcase events.
